Software Project Analyst

Summary:
This analyst position assists with the coordination of developers and assets in order to fulfill business needs with the delivery of valuable software solutions.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Communication with the VP of Software Engineering to affirm software project assignments and associated priorities Performs project management duties on software development initiatives Assist with organization of development tasks and appropriate assignment to the respective team units Maintain project roadmap detailing sprint items and expected delivery dates, creating metrics for assessing timeliness and improving estimates; reflecting course corrections and adapting timelines for deviations Assist in the validation and resolution of contributions by their respective development team members Facilitating the provisioning of infrastructure through request / coordination with the VP of Software Engineering, System Administrator, and adhering to established change management protocol Establish formal project requirements through research and communication with both business stakeholders and internal subject matter experts Routine and on-demand communication with the development team to provide subject matter clarity, remove roadblocks, and ensure project progress Serve as a product information, demonstration, and support representative for Sales and Marketing initiatives Provide regular assessments of team members and pursue appropriate remedial measures to promote optimal performance Required Skills/Abilities:
Proficient in version control practices, including fluency with Git (Git based repositories and version management with Bitbucket).
Understanding of SQL.
Database Technologies - Mongo 4.
x, Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or above, Google Big Query.
Web Programming Skills, E-Commerce, cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design (UI), Security Principles.
Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application Knowledge of concurrency patterns.
Able to contribute to automation, causal analysis, and development of shared/common solutions.
Working knowledge of Core Java (Basics) is a plus.
Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or relevant coursework.

years experience in managing/gathering requirements for design and development projects Defining usability requirements based on business objectives Ability to Identify milestones and goals in the development process Fluent in project management tools for creating and managing issues, sprints, testing, and validation Experience creating and using User Personas, User Stories, and User Flows, and information architecture diagrams Highly Desirable Experience working with Jira, and Confluence Previous experience working with ASP.
Net Core, C#, MVC, WCF/Web Services and related web technology Previous experience working with Angular, Bootstrap, HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, CSS3 Database Technologies - Mongo 4.
